L 410 NG
Kunovice-based aircraft manufacturer Aircraft Industries from the Omnipol Group will deliver 17 L 410 NG aircraft to three Asian airlines.
The Kunovice company has concluded agreements on the future purchase of L 410 NG aircraft with WISE Air, Starwisata Air and Sulut Airways Indonesia. They were signed on Friday in Jakarta, Indonesia, at the INDO Defence exhibition.
The price of the contract remained undisclosed.
WISE Air and Starwisata Air are civil domestic passenger operators in Indonesia. Sulut Airways serves the territory of Papua New Guinea with aircraft.
Susi Air has operated L 410 aircraft in the region since 2017. Based on the positive experience of the operators and the flight characteristics of the machines, other Indonesian customers have expressed interest in acquiring these aircraft, according to Aircraft Industries representatives. “Indonesia is an important customer for us and we are glad that representatives of the mentioned companies have expressed their interest in purchasing aircraft of this type. The L 410s are popular here as they excel in reliability, safety and ability to operate in extreme climatic conditions,” said Omnipol President Jiri Podpěra.
