Embraer, a global aerospace industry leader, and Poland’s Łukasiewicz – Institute of Aviation (Łukasiewicz – ILOT), one of Europe’s leading aerospace research institutions, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on future flight technologies and advanced aviation materials. The agreement was formalized on March 11, 2025, in Warsaw by Francisco Gomes Neto, President and CEO of Embraer, and Sylwester Wyka, Acting Director of Łukasiewicz – ILOT.
The partnership will initially focus on joint research and development activities, including innovative aeronautical design concepts, future maintenance processes, advanced materials, and cutting-edge aviation technology.
Sylwester Wyka highlighted the strategic importance of the partnership: “Our collaboration with Embraer creates a technological bridge between Poland and South America. It places Polish research at the forefront of global aerospace innovation, supporting safer, more efficient, and sustainable aviation.”
Embraer’s President and CEO, Francisco Gomes Neto, added, “Partnering with Łukasiewicz – ILOT is a crucial step in our strategy to strengthen our presence within Poland’s aerospace sector. We anticipate significant breakthroughs that will drive industry growth and reinforce our collective future readiness.”
