Embraer will return to Seoul ADEX 2025 (20–24 October) to present its Defense & Security portfolio, including the C-390 Millennium, at Booth 7-I6. The company’s defense products are now in service across more than 60 countries, covering air, land, sea, and space domains.

“Our presence at ADEX reflects our strong commitment to Korea’s defense industry,” said Bosco da Costa Junior, President & CEO of Embraer Defense & Security. “The C-390 aircraft for South Korea are advancing as planned, and we value our cooperation with DAPA, ROKAF, and our Korean suppliers.”

In 2023, South Korea’s Defense Acquisition Program Administration (DAPA) selected the C-390 Millennium for its Large Transport Aircraft (LTA-II) tender, providing the Republic of Korea Air Force (ROKAF) with new multi-role transport aircraft. The program includes a comprehensive support package covering training, ground equipment, and spare parts.

Significant parts of the C-390 will be manufactured in South Korea by ASTG, EMK, and Kencoa Aerospace, strengthening the country’s defense industrial base and cooperation between Brazil and South Korea.
In September, Embraer and KOTRA organized a week-long industry roadshow in Sacheon and Busan, focused on expanding aerospace collaboration.

The C-390 Millennium continues to gain international traction, now selected by 11 air forces worldwide. Since entering service with the Brazilian Air Force in 2019, and later with Portugal and Hungary, the aircraft has achieved a mission completion rate above 99%, confirming its reliability and operational capability.

Designed for flexibility and performance, the C-390 carries up to 26 tons, reaches 470 knots, and operates from unpaved or semi-prepared runways. The KC-390 variant adds air-to-air refueling capability, both as tanker and receiver.
