Eldis Pardubice, a top Czech manufacturer of cutting-edge radar systems, has scored a major success in India, securing a contract to deliver 20 new radars by 2026. This move strengthens Eldis’ dominance in India’s airspace, where their radars already provide extensive coverage.

The new deal includes 11 combined PSR/MSSR radars and 9 secondary MSSR radars, enhancing both new and existing airport infrastructures. The urgency is palpable, with the first two radars slated for delivery to Jewar and New Mumbai airports this year. This contract aligns perfectly with India’s Vision 2040, a bold plan anticipating dramatic growth in civil aviation, underscoring Eldis’ critical role in India’s aviation future.

“This contract, valued in the higher hundreds of millions of crowns, is a testament to our robust partnership and reputation in India,” says Filip Vogel, Eldis Pardubice’s commercial director and head of Eldis India. Indeed, Eldis’ radars are a cornerstone of India’s aviation infrastructure, solidifying the company’s status as a trusted provider.

In addition to this major contract, Eldis is also fulfilling a crucial order for 11 combined radars for the Indian Navy and Coast Guard, and has recently won a tender for next-generation precision approach radars for HAL, a leading aerospace company under India’s Ministry of Defence. These projects further highlight Eldis’ adaptability and expertise in meeting India’s diverse radar needs.

Eldis’ success isn’t confined to India. The company’s innovative radar systems are operational in nearly 30 countries across four continents. Noteworthy projects include new-generation radar installations for Poland’s PANSA, Norway’s Air Force, Germany’s military, and Turkey via the CSG export agency, Excalibur International. Additionally, Eldis has made significant strides in Morocco and Indonesia, showcasing the company’s global impact and technological prowess.

“Our next-gen radars are a game-changer,” Vogel explains. “They are essential for participating in Eurocontrol-supervised tenders and are currently being deployed in Indonesia through a major project with Excalibur International. The recent Airspace Geneva exhibition demonstrated solid international interest in Eldis’ products.”

As Eldis Pardubice continues to innovate and expand, their footprint in global aviation grows ever larger. Their success story is not just about cutting-edge technology, but also about strategic vision, robust partnerships, and a relentless pursuit of excellence in the world’s fastest-growing aviation markets.
