CSG Sells Job Air Technic to FL Technics, Part of Avia Solutions Group

After nine years, Job Air Technic has a new owner. The aircraft maintenance company, previously part of the CSG Aerospace division of the industrial-technology group CSG, has been acquired by FL Technics. The buyer is a subsidiary of Avia Solutions Group — the world’s largest provider of ACMI (Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance, and Insurance) services. With this acquisition, Job Air Technic perfectly complements their expanding portfolio. The sale of the Mošnov Airport-based company is part of CSG’s strategy to consolidate its product portfolio and sharpen its focus on its core business areas.

Job Air Technic joined CSG in 2016 at a critical moment when the company was in insolvency — CSG stepped in and saved it, helping preserve the region’s aviation heritage and jobs. Over nearly a decade under CSG’s wing, Job Air Technic stabilized, opened a second maintenance hangar with workshop facilities in 2020, significantly boosted capacity, and became one of the top 10 MRO providers in Europe.

The company is certified for maintenance of narrow-body aircraft like the Airbus A320 Family and Boeing 737, as well as for wide-body Airbus A330s. Job Air Technic is also authorized to train aircraft mechanics and runs its own spare parts e-shop. Its customers benefit from its experienced GO Team, capable of carrying out aircraft maintenance anywhere in the world.

“Our company has long specialized in heavy maintenance, which often goes hand in hand with operator changes. I’m convinced that this focus is a perfect fit for the MRO services Avia Solutions Group offers its clients,” says Imrich Czére, CEO of Job Air Technic. “The MRO sector is seeing major consolidation right now, and becoming part of a global group opens up significant growth potential for us.”

FL Technics, part of Avia Solutions Group, was founded in 2005 in Vilnius, Lithuania. Today, it operates a global network of maintenance hangars covering 35,700 m² and is certified for aircraft engine repairs. Since 2022, its subsidiaries have operated under the unified FL Technics brand.

“This acquisition greatly expands our network and service portfolio,” said Žilvinas Lapinskas, CEO of FL Technics. “We can immediately offer clients eight fully operational maintenance slots — saving the several years typically needed to build and certify such capacity. We’re also gaining an established customer base, and the strategic location allows us to cover all of Europe, North Africa, and Turkey within just three to four hours’ flight time.”

About Job Air Technic
Founded in 1993 and based at Leoš Janáček Airport in Mošnov, Job Air Technic built a new maintenance hangar in 2008 and gained certification for Boeing 737 maintenance, later adding Airbus A320 (2011) and Airbus A330 (2017). The company specializes in heavy maintenance, often linked to operator changes or aircraft returns to leasing companies. In 2016, Job Air Technic became part of CSG, owned by Czech entrepreneur Michal Strnad. A second hangar with workshop, storage, and office space was completed in 2019.
