The Institute for Defense & Government Advancement (IDGA) will host the Military Simulation Training Summit in Orlando, FL, on February 24–25, 2026, bringing together senior military leaders, program managers, and industry experts to advance the future of simulation and synthetic training across the U.S. and allied armed forces.
Taking place at the Celeste Hotel in Orlando, the two-day summit is the premier event dedicated to military simulation training, with more than 200 senior practitioners expected to attend from the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Coast Guard, Marine Corps, NATO and allied nations.
As global security challenges continue to evolve, modernizing military training has become a strategic priority. The 2026 Military Simulation Training Summit will explore how Live, Virtual, and Constructive (LVC) training, synthetic environments, and emerging technologies are transforming readiness across air, land, sea, cyber, and space domains.
The summit’s agenda will focus on key themes shaping the future of defence training, including competency-based training and interoperability, learning management systems, integration of artificial intelligence, persistent cyber training environments (PCTE), and balancing live and synthetic training environments. Attendees will gain insight into how simulation is being leveraged from individual skills development through to complex joint and coalition warfare preparation.
Participants will hear directly from senior leaders and technical experts representing major U.S. military simulation and training commands, including the CPE STRI, training system program managers, and operational commanders. The event also provides a collaborative platform for international partners and NATO stakeholders to share best practices and strengthen interoperability among allied forces.
The IDGA Military Simulation Training Summit 2026 is a must-attend event for military leaders, acquisition professionals, technologists, and industry partners committed to advancing realistic, scalable, and operationally relevant training for modern armed forces.
