Czech company Dogfight Boss has delivered and installed an F-16 pilot training simulator at a military base in Argentina, supporting the country’s pilot training capability.

The system replicates the full cockpit environment of the F-16, including all primary controls. Integrated with software from Danish company ArenaLogic, the simulator enables accurate training of basic and emergency procedures that pilots must master before transitioning to real aircraft.

Focus on procedural training

Rather than replacing full-flight simulators, Dogfight Boss positions its systems as a complement to larger simulation platforms, with a focus on procedural and tactical training.

“Our goal is to provide a tool that is as realistic as possible, but also available for continuous training directly at bases or universities,” said Lukáš Homola, founder of Dogfight Boss.

Modular design and flexibility

The simulator features a modular cockpit design made of high-strength steel, enabling easy transport and rapid reconfiguration between different F-16 variants, from Block 15 to Block 70.

This approach allows operators to adapt the system to different configurations while maintaining consistent training standards.

Fidelity and transfer to real operations

Dogfight Boss places emphasis on the fidelity of system behaviour, including control response, reaction timing and cockpit ergonomics. This ensures that skills acquired during simulation are directly transferable to real-world operations.

The company develops and manufactures key hardware components in-house, enabling faster adaptation to operational requirements and reducing dependence on external suppliers.

Expanding role of flexible training systems

Dogfight Boss systems are deployed across South America, Oceania, Europe, Ukraine, the United States and the Czech Republic, supporting a range of operators including pilots, helicopter crews, JTAC specialists and armoured units.

The company will also present its F-16 simulator at ITEC 2026 in London, one of the leading international events focused on defence training and simulation.

The Argentina deployment reflects a broader move toward more accessible and adaptable training solutions, complementing traditional simulation infrastructure.
