Embraer Posts Best Third Quarter Ever with 66 Aircraft Delivered

Brazilian aircraft manufacturer Embraer delivered 66 aircraft in the third quarter of 2026, marking the strongest third-quarter delivery performance in the company’s history. Deliveries increased 6% year-on-year and 2% compared with the previous quarter, while total deliveries for the first nine months reached 175 aircraft. The figures underline Embraer’s continued production ramp-up across commercial, executive and defence aviation as the manufacturer heads into the final quarter of the year.

How many aircraft did Embraer deliver in Q3 2026?

Embraer delivered 66 aircraft during the third quarter, compared with 62 in Q3 2025 and 65 in the second quarter of this year.

Commercial Aviation accounted for 22 aircraft. These comprised 11 E175 regional jets and 11 E2-family aircraft: four E190-E2s and seven E195-E2s.

Commercial deliveries were therefore 10% higher both year-on-year and quarter-on-quarter.

Executive Aviation remained the largest contributor by volume, with 41 business jets delivered. These included 22 Phenom-family light jets and 19 Praetor midsize jets.

The Defence & Security business delivered three aircraft during the quarter: one KC-390 Millennium multi-mission transport and two A-29 Super Tucanos.

Nine-month deliveries rise 14%

Across all three businesses, Embraer delivered 175 aircraft during the first nine months of 2026, up 14% from 153 during the same period in 2025.

Executive Aviation accounted for 115 aircraft, compared with 102 a year earlier. Commercial Aviation increased from 46 to 52 aircraft, while Defence & Security deliveries rose from five to eight.

Embraer says the performance reflects continued progress in its production-levelling programme, designed to reduce the traditional concentration of aircraft deliveries toward the end of the year.

That is particularly important for manufacturers because more evenly distributed production can improve cash flow, supply-chain planning and manufacturing efficiency.

Can Embraer meet its 2026 targets?

Embraer maintained its full-year delivery guidance.

The company expects Commercial Aviation to deliver between 80 and 85 aircraft in 2026. With 52 delivered through September, that leaves between 28 and 33 commercial aircraft for the fourth quarter.

Executive Aviation is targeting between 160 and 170 aircraft. After delivering 115 through September, another 45 to 55 business jets would be required in the final three months.

The Q3 numbers therefore leave Embraer with a substantial fourth-quarter workload, but its improving production profile gives the manufacturer a stronger starting position than in previous years.

What’s next?

Attention now shifts to Embraer’s fourth-quarter production and whether the manufacturer can convert its growing backlog into deliveries without recreating the year-end production concentration it has been working to reduce.

Three figures matter most:

  • 66 aircraft delivered in Q3 — an Embraer third-quarter record.
  • 175 aircraft delivered during the first nine months, up 14% year-on-year.
  • Commercial and Executive Aviation guidance remains unchanged at 80–85 and 160–170 aircraft respectively.

For Embraer, 2026 is increasingly becoming a story not only of strong demand, but of whether the company can sustainably increase the industrial capacity needed to meet it.
