Top Aces Corp. has been awarded a multi-year contract valued at $33.2 million to deliver comprehensive F-16 pilot training for the Argentine Air Force (Fuerza Aérea Argentina, FAA). The program represents a key milestone in Argentina’s ongoing modernization of its air combat capabilities following its acquisition of F-16 aircraft from Denmark.

The contract, awarded by the U.S. Air Force’s 338th Enterprise Sourcing Squadron and managed by the Air Force Security Assistance Training Squadron (AFSAT), underscores Top Aces’ growing global footprint and its recognized expertise in advanced fighter training.

Under the agreement, Top Aces will provide a full-spectrum training solution covering all phases of F-16 pilot development. This includes the Basic Course (B-course) for initial qualification, Mission Qualification Training, Flight Lead Upgrade, and Instructor Pilot Upgrade. The base contract spans two years, with an option for a third-year extension.

Training will be conducted in Argentina using FAA-operated F-16 aircraft, ensuring alignment with national operational requirements and specific aircraft configurations. The program integrates academic instruction, simulator-based training, and live-flight operations across multiple mission profiles.

Top Aces’ instructor cadre brings extensive operational experience, primarily from the U.S. Air Force, with each pilot averaging over 2,300 flight hours on the F-16 platform. This depth of expertise is expected to accelerate the FAA’s transition to frontline F-16 operations while maintaining high standards of safety and effectiveness.

The in-country training model was a decisive factor in the contract award, enabling rapid deployment and continuity across all training phases. This approach supports efficient skill progression and ensures operational relevance while optimizing cost-effectiveness.

The program reflects a broader trend of leveraging commercial providers to enhance military readiness through specialized, high-quality training solutions. For Argentina, the partnership with Top Aces represents a significant step toward building a modern, capable, and sustainable air combat force.

With a track record of over 150,000 accident-free flight hours and the distinction of being the world’s only commercial operator of the F-16, Top Aces continues to position itself as a leading provider of advanced adversary and operational training services worldwide.
