On November 14, during the Smart Industry conference in Kopřivnice, Czech Republic, Pocket Virtuality, part of the CSG Aerospace division of the industrial and technology group CSG, unveiled their latest product for the Czech market: Lumnio. This innovative software utilizes augmented reality to enable remote maintenance and support, using either digitized manuals or live remote assistance. Lumnio has already garnered significant interest, positioning itself as a solution with global ambitions.

Lumnio operates as a cloud-based service on the IVR cloud, linking field technicians with remote support. When performing specific tasks, technicians can access step-by-step AR manuals, or they can connect remotely with an experienced technician who guides them through each operation, ensuring quality and accuracy. Key benefits include reduced costs, faster maintenance times, digitalized record-keeping, and tracking of completed tasks.

“Our advantage with Lumnio is that we cover the entire process—from capturing know-how in the field to displaying specific workflows on tablets, phones, or AR glasses. The combination of 2D and 3D with the ability to scan and generate models on-site where 3D models aren’t available sets us apart from competitors,” said Robert Paskovský, Marketing Director at Pocket Virtuality.

The Smart Industry conference also featured a live demonstration of Lumnio’s AR capabilities, showcasing practical scenarios on smart glasses and tablets. Selected CSG group companies and pilot customers, like Complete CZ—a provider of cooling technology maintenance—are already using the system. Complete CZ CEO Petr Řezníček commented, “Thanks to the digitalization of our services with Lumnio and RealWear Navigator smart glasses, we have improved efficiency and flexibility, even integrating junior technicians into our on-call shifts and increasing service volume by 12% year-over-year while reducing process costs.”

Following its launch in the Czech Republic, Lumnio is set to expand to Poland, Slovakia, and Hungary, followed by Southern and Western Europe, including Italy, Spain, and the Balkans. With global ambitions, Pocket Virtuality has established Lumnio Ltd. in the U.S., aiming to make the software widely accessible as a SaaS model. “Our service is designed for ease of use. Customers can download a demo version and begin within 30 minutes, and if satisfied, they can purchase a license. We also plan local partnerships to integrate with ERP systems used by our target audience,” added Bohuslav Paule.

Future developments for Lumnio will include artificial intelligence integration, enabling features such as real-time language translation for remote support and AI-powered verification of maintenance tasks. Enhancements to its 3D functionality, device recognition, and augmented reality capabilities are also in progress.
